Point SAPS host prayer for fallen heroes

The importance of mental health was highlighted at the event.

THE Point SAPS paid tribute to their fallen heroes with a prayer this week.

Point SAPS spokesperson, Captain Carmen Rhynes said the prayer was hosted in conjunction with Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) and the Point Community Policing Forum.

“The purpose of the prayer was to remember all of SAPS fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, those who succumbed to Covid-19 and for the safety of all SAPS members that are deployed for election duties,” she said.
