Plan your 2022 by turning your home office into a happy space

Here are a few tips to make working from home fun.

EVERY year, some people set goals for the new year and some of these are ambitious, achievable and, at a glance, look achievable. If your resolutions rarely come to fruition, it’s time to rethink the way you create goals.

With KwaZulu-Natal currently in the midst of the fourth wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, if you plan to work from home next year, and you want to be more productive than you did this year, use this holiday period to turn your home office into a world class office space.

If you don’t have a clue where to start, we’ve listed a few ways to make your home office a happy space. (Source: www.chubb.com)

1.Show & Tell

Decorate your workspace to showcase it. Why not have a competition to see who has the neatest or messiest desk?

2. Dress to impress

Have a themed dress-up for your meetings. It could be anything, from something as out-of-the-box as Alice in Wonderland or something as simple as polka dots. You can also use your imagination to think of something fun that could turn your online meetings into a cool, happy space.

3. Celebrate virtually

Working from home does not mean that birthday celebrations have to stop. You could have a birthday cake delivered and celebrate with your colleagues online.
