Another Durban building catches fire
Paramedics rushed to the scene at about 22:00 last night.

THICK smoke was seen pouring out of a building on the corner of Grey and Beatrice Streets just after 22:00 on Saturday, February 12.
Kyke Van Reenen of Emer-G-Med Paramedics said they rushed to the scene to find the building alight.
“Reports from the scene are that smoke can be seen pouring out of a building on the corner of Grey and Beatrice Streets,” he said.

This adds to a spate of recent fires in the Durban CBD.
On Thursday, February 10 at about 18:00. Videos circulating on social media show a building well alight on Queen Street.

Three weeks ago, 13 people were injured after a fire ripped through China Mall n Dr Pixley KaSame Street. The fire burned for five day, leaving thick smoke in the city.
eThekwini Fire and Rescue services have been activated and at this stage no injuries have been reported.
