Property group gives back with clean-up in Musgrave

John Wakefield said a clean area enhances property value.

WITH rakes and spades in hand, the Wakefields Property Management team set to work cleaning up roads in Essenwood on Thursday, February 24.

Among the volunteers at the clean-up were, John Wakefield and his son Warren.

Speaking to Berea Mail, John said a clean area enhances property value.

“A clean environment makes for clean living. Everyone has to step up for their community, especially when you see weeds growing in the pavements and grass overgrown,” he said.

The team picked up litter and cleared weeds and foliage from pavements along several roads including Silverton, Stephen Dlamini, Musgrave and St Thomas roads. Operations executive from Wakefields Property Management, Nicholas Harcourt-Baldwin said the clean-up was hosted from 13:00 until 15:00.

“Two of our preferred contractors, Smart Gardens and Giant Tree Felling have come to help us today,” he said.
