Get ready for an ‘un-fore-gettable’ Golf Day

Glenridge Pre Primary school is gearing up to host an epic, fundraising Golf Day at the Royal Durban Golf Club open to all.

IF you’re a golf enthusiast and have a business or brand that you would like to promote, bust out your golf clubs and head to Glenridge Pre Primary’s upcoming Golf Day.

The local school will be hosting a fun-filled day at the Royal Durban Golf Club on Friday May 27.

You can support this major fundraising event by finding golfers to enter a four ball team (or individual players), sponsor a hole or donate prizes/cash.

Sponsorship of a hole at R1000 per hole:

If you are seeking an advertising opportunity the event will have sponsored holes where businesses can market themselves.  The sponsorship of a hole starts at R1000. School principal, Robyn Julie, said, “This is a perfect advertising or promotional opportunity for your company. Why not organise a team-building event on the day while you promote your business, whilst enjoying good fun and networking. This is a good opportunity to market your product or company to our parents and other golfers.

“Sponsors may brand the hole, offer drinks (alcoholic or alcohol-free) and display their products or services (subject to approval by Club). Prime advertising is available for the first and eighteenth holes at R2000 each,” added Julie.

Players:

The playing fees are as follows: for a four ball team, the fee is R2400 and for one player the fee is R600.

According to Julie, these include green fees, a lunch voucher, goody bag, and dinner at the prize giving (per player).

Prizes:

The school is appealing for any donations of prizes – big or small!

“We would appreciate it greatly if you would extend your generosity to our little school or forward a request to the correct person to make this happen,” said Julie.
