Childline to host gala dinner in support of vulnerable children

In its show of appreciation, Childline KZN will host a glittering dinner to highlight the contribution made by the community in protection of vulnerable children across the province.

CHILDLINE KZN has announced its upcoming Annual Gala Dinner, an evening dedicated to celebrating compassion, community, and commitment to protecting children across the province.

“More than just an evening of glamour, the gala dinner is a key fundraising event that supports Childline KZN’s critical programmes, including the 24-hour toll-free Helpline (116), community outreach, counselling, and child protection initiatives.

“The organisation provides essential psychosocial services to children and families affected by abuse, neglect, and trauma. Through specialised counselling, crisis intervention, and ongoing therapeutic support, Childline KZN helps survivors rebuild their sense of safety, dignity, and hope for a better future,” said Adeshini Naicker, director of Childline KZN.

“This evening represents both celebration and purpose. It’s a reminder that when we come together as a community, we can make an extraordinary difference in the lives of children,” Naicker added.

She said guests can look forward to an elegant evening filled with entertainment, sumptuous meals, and inspiring stories of resilience and hope, a true reflection of the heart of Childline KZN.

The event will take place on November 8 at Coastlands Umhlanga.

Bookings for tickets (R1000) and corporate packages are open via marketing@childlinekzn.org.za.
