EDITOR – I am writing to you for help in finding my wife’s engagement ring. On Saturday, 7 December, she went for a walk with a friend to Essenwood Park. When at the park, she was worried about getting mugged, so put her rings in her pocket. They walked around the park for about an hour and then walked back to the friend’s house in Vause Road. It was then she realised she had a hole in her pocket and the ring was missing. We have retraced her steps quite a few times. The ring could have fallen in the long grass at the park or on the pavement. We are appealing to anyone who may have found the ring to please return it us. This ring is the symbol of our love and a reminder of the day I asked her to spend the rest of her life with me.
I believe that there are good people out there, who may have the ring, but not know who to return it to.
