How long must be wait?

A resident asks, how long does DSW and the electricity department need before they act?

EDITOR – With regards to the letter in the Berea Mail last week, I was commended for my efforts, then questioned as to why we didnt give DSW a chance.

How long do they need? They were informed on several occasions by myself and I assume others, via their website, e-services, and the health department and so on.

They must drive past it four times a day, so how long do they need?

And the excuse that the rubbish keeps ‘reappearing’, begs the question as to why the people dumping aren’t being prosecuted.

I just went past today (25 February) and the illegal electricity connection is still there, after I have informed them and sent the anonymous tip off over a week ago, so yes, DSW did fail to act, as has Durban electricity.
