EDITOR – I would like to add my voice to Wayne Grundy’s regarding the letter to the editor from the Cleveland Road residents.
I get wild when a resident steps up and does good, and then someone writes in complaining that DSW is getting a bad rap.
For goodness sake, Cleveland Mansions is a disgrace. Everything about it is suspect. Wayne took photographs of illegal electrical connections from the light pole to the building!
The owners must see their building is wired illegally? The owners must see the rats? They must see the filthy cockroach-infested grounds? The stinking garbage?
Ignorance is never a mitigating factor in a court of law.
I wrote to the councillor asking to ensure that the owners were prosecuted. The only way to put a stop to this is to set an example.
There is the evidence to prosecute. The story had great prominence in the press. Plus hundreds of people read and liked on our Save Our Berea Facebook page.
