Please come forward

A woman is looking for witnesses to come forward in a hit and run incident outside Penzance Primary.

EDITOR- On 25 March I was parked outside Penzance Primary School at the front of the gate. Since there was no parking, the guard at the school moved the cones, so that I could park in front of the exit gate.

I was facing in a South direction in Penzance Road, there was another car that was parked right opposite me on the island side but obstructing part of the road. At about 14.15pm, a lady in a white Peugeot came up the road and squeezed between my car and the other one obstructing part of the road. I just felt my car going up and sideways as she just carried on driving like nothing happened, she never even stopped.

When I finally could get out of the parking I was in to see if I could see her, her vehicle was parked on the island but there was no sign of her. I went to the school early the next morning to see if I could spot her but with no success. I went to Umbilo SAPS to report the hit and run this morning as I had tried to resolve the matter between the two of us, but I was told that I needed to report it within 48 hours. I am appealing to the woman to come forward and pay for the damages to my vehicle or witnesses that may have seen the incident.
