EDITOR – On a recent walk along the beachfront I came across this bizarre sign at Laguna Beach.
What is more puzzling is that it appears to be reasonably freshly stencilled as it does not show signs of fading or wear and tear.
I doubt very much that it was painted pre 1994.
Where has the person responsble been for the past 20 years?

eThekwini head of communications, Ms Tozi Mthethwa replied: “Some of these signs are historical artifacts similar to the statues that were erected during the apartheid regime. These have been allowed to remain to remind us of the road we have travelled as a country.”
