Taxis don’t obey rules of the road

Taxis need to be policed on the roads, says a reader.

EDITOR – I would appreciate to know how the public feel about rude taxi drivers.

I think it is diabolical the way the taxis have taken over the rules of the road. I am a world traveller and have never experienced such atrocious driving that I have experienced these last few years. Why are the police and the road traffic management not putting their heads together to make it safe for the public and the car drivers?

One becomes a nervous wreck with the taxi drivers.

I would appreciate it if something could be done, starting at pickup points, as the taxis just stop and start anywhere and jump from lane to lane at a horrific speed.
