Excellent service restores my faith

A Morningside resident thanks two Chubb members and a tow truck driver for their assistance.

EDITOR – On Friday 16 October I was waiting in my car outside my grandson's school in Glenwood, he was returning from a school sports match at 5.30pm which became

6.30pm and finally he arrived at 7.30pm.

I started my car and it would not start, and while wondering what to do and who to call, a Chubb car pulled up and Johan went into the school. On returning I asked if he could help us, he offered to call a tow truck. I then remembered a friend's son who could assist, gave him a call and he recommended Lucky from Durban South who had a tow truck.

Lucky arrived about 3/4 hour after our call, during that time Johan from Chubb called on us twice between carrying out his duties ensuring we were safe.

As Lucky arrived Johan arrived with another Chubb colleague Rodney who between them were going to try and push start my vehicle. Fortunately Lucky had also brought a colleague and they got my car going pretty quickly.

Not only did Lucky charge me a very reasonable rate, considering it was then about 8.40pm on a Friday, both Johan and Rodney waited until we were safely on our

way home.

Thanks a lot guys, you have restored my faith, we got excellent service in a way we don't often experience.
