Comedy Show was a hit

A reader congratulates the organisers of the Durban Summer Comedy Show.

EDITOR – I attended the “Durban Summer Comedy Show” at the Durban Jewish Centre last week and I would like extend my congratulations to the organisers of this event. This stand-up comedy show was proudly Durban written all over, it boasted a line-up of Durban born comedians, who now ply their trade all over the country.

Standout comedians of the night were Neil Green, Neville Pillay, Carvin Golstone, Robbie Collins, Justice Khubeka & Jem Atkins. In recent times Durban has produced some the funniest comedians in the industry, especially within the coloured community. The likes of Carvin Goldstone, Calvin Stoffels, Robbie Collins, Richelieu Beaunoir , Liam E Johns & Arnott Payne, who can hold their own and perform with the best in the country. Well done to “On Fire Comedy” for pulling out all the stops and hosting such an awesome comedy line-up.

Viva Durban comedy.
