Pupils need a helping hand

An appeal goes out for residents to help sponsor stationery and school uniforms for an Umbilo girl.

EDITOR – A big thank you goes to the staff at Imperial Retail Logistic for making a little boy very happy. He was not sure if he would be able to start school on Wednesday as he was told if he did not have all his stationery for the year he did not have to go to school.

We also say thank you for some of the stationery for the other child we were trying to help, but sadly the company was not able to support with all her needs and we are appealing to the community for help.

We are still looking for some of her stationery and a uniform for her. If there is any company or person out there that is willing to assist please give me a call on 031 206 1479. The uniform can be second-hand if it is in very good condition. The young lady is going to Grade 8 at Brettonwood High School.
