EDITOR – With reference to Lyn Matthysen’s letter “Charity starts at home” dated Friday 19 January.
The tone of her response is painting the picture of her feelings at the time she was writing this letter. If she didn’t want to donate to the school project, she didn’t have to comment. The cars parked at Kenneth Gardens that she mentioned don’t belong to the whole population that resides there.
The Kenneth Gardens community knows why they extended their donation request, so she didn’t have to say such things.
