EDITOR – There is a report of a Ball Python being seen in Pigeon Valley Nature Reserve. This is really bad news. This python is not indigenous to the area and has the capacity to prey on small birds such as the Flufftails.
It has presumably escaped from or been released by an irresponsible collector of exotic animals.
