Durban hosts softball championship

DURBAN will be host city the annual softball National Provincial Championship (NPC) from 19 to 22 March at the Hoy Park fields.

This is the most prestigious softball tournament in South Africa and promises to deliver the highest quality games seen on the African continent.

Provinces participating in this event will be KwaZulu-Natal, Western Province, Universities, ESU, North West, Limpopo, Eastern Cape, Tshwane and Johannesburg.

This sporting code is still an amateur sport but has the same punch as any professional sporting code. Players are proud to represent their provinces and participate for love of the game.

The event promises to be a highly competitive event.
