Get out and about in nature this weekend with Durban Ramblers Hiking Club.

ENJOY outings with Durban Ramblers Hiking Club this weekend.

On Saturday 25 July the group will hike at North Park Reserve, Queensburgh.

This is a great hike for beginners. Meet at 1.45pm at the North Park Nature Reserve parking area, at the end of Anderson Road, which is off Main Road in Queensburgh. This is a short hike in a forested area and up to a view point looking over part of the Queensburgh area. There is a R20 entrance fee.

On Saturdary 25 July there will be a hike at Minerva Heights, Byrne Valley.

Meet at 6am at Union Main Centre, Old Main Road, Pinetown.

Hike from Minerva Heights to Osgodsby in the Richmond Area. This scenic route follows along good tracks, plantation roads as well as open grasslands. It drops down through a magnificent indigenous forest and passes a very old stand of mature Yellow wood trees.

Accommodation is available at Minerva. This is a combined hike with Midlands and Mountain Backpackers.
