Enter fun bowls tourney
Bowlers from all areas are encouraged to enter a fun Trips tournament and help support TAFTA.
DURBAN Bowling Club celebrates Women's Day on Monday 10 August at 8am with a fun Trips tournament.
Women from bowling clubs all over Durban and surrounding areas will participate in this major event, and it is expected that 120 participants will take part.
On this Women's Day, the club wishes to support the elderly and needy in TAFTA residential homes.
Entrance is R100 per person, which includes tea, sandwiches and lunch.
There will be two games of 12 ends and one game of 15 ends.
There is also a request for donations of used bed linen, cushions and blankets to provide a little warmth, comfort and dignity for the elderly at TAFTA's homes.
Donations of sponsorships, prizes, vouchers and meal vouchers and banners and other advertising material are also needed for the tournament.
New bowlers are welcome to join in on the day.
