Get out and about in nature this weekend with Durban Ramblers Hiking Club.
ENJOY outings with Durban Ramblers' Hiking Club this weekend.
On Saturday 22 August the group will hike at Summerveld Conservancy.
Meet at the Assagay Hotel at 1.30pm to drive through to Summerveld at 1.45pm. Walk through the Summerveld Conservancy Area. Grading 2 – moderate.

On Sunday 23 August the group will hike at Stonehaven Castle, Shongweni.
Meet at Union Main Centre, Old Main Road, Pinetown at 8am, or outside the Assagay Hotel at 8.15am and drive in convoy to the Castle. Steep uphill from the railway line to Summerveld, returning on a circular path over grasslands and through bush. Do not attempt this hike if you suffer from vertigo!
Grading 3 – moderate, distance is 15km.
