RESULTS of the Chicken Run played on 26 August: winners: Errol Pienaar, Ashley Sherratt and Marchel with +21; runners up: Ron King, Les Prinsloo and John Yunnie with +8; the raffle was won by Viv Wills.

Results of the Glenwood Superspar Mixed Fours played on 27 August: 1st: Steve, Graham, Michelle and Debbie with 4+19; 1st session: Herman Rutger, Mervyn Barratt Les Muswema and Liz Bell with 2+5; 2nd session: Dave Gafney, Tom Marx, Moira Moody and Val Field with 2+6; the raffle was won by Dirk Roos.

Results of the Warwick Wealth Mixed Trips played on 29 August: 1st : Olga Baccus and her team with 26+41; 2nd: Graham Ellis and his team with 26+20; 1st session: Trevor Phillips and his team with 10+19; 2nd session: Mario Markovic and his team with 10+24; 3rd session: Ron Davids and his team with 10+11.

Upcoming event: On Thursday 24 September from 8.30am, there will be a fun bowls day. All welcome, take your friends. Dress casual, but flat shoes are essential.

Cost is R25 per person which includes tea/coffee and sandwiches. Lots of prizes and music, with a bring and braai afterwards.

Results of the Men’s Breakfast Pairs: 1st: L Edelstein and S Bidgood 4+15; 2nd: B King and P Levy 4+11; 3rd: B Rae and C Coetzee 4+7; 1st session: J Mills and S Barlow 2+13; 2nd session: K Victor and N Roberts 2+11. Next breakfast pairs will be played on 20 September.

STELLA PARK BC

TUESDAY'S Tabs in sponsored by POPs Printers and The Anchorage Umbilo was won by Colin Nicholas and Michelle Nortje; 2nd Sterling Vermaak, Pam Olivier and Leon van der Linde.

Winners of Friday's mufti were Mervyn Hinchcliffe, Mervyn Barret and Georgie Fennessy.

Upcoming events: Friday 4pm mufti bowls, all welcome, followed by club draw at 6pm, and live music.

There will be a dance on Saturday at 8pm. Entrance fee R50 with music by Toppie, Poppie and Tjoppie.

Sunday sections of Port Natal Pairs all day.

Tuesday 1.30pm start tabs in, all bowlers welcome, dress casual.
