BEREA BC

RESULTS of the Chicken Run played on 2 August: winners: Rob Elsworth, Shaun Howard and Barry Barnes with +27; runners up: Viv Wills, Ashley Sherratt and Peter Gow with +17; the raffle was won by Jumbo Nel.

Upcoming events: Fun day on Thursday 24 September (public holiday), all welcome, take your friends. Dress casual but flat shoes essential. Cost is R25 per person which includes tea/coffee and sandwiches. Lots of prizes and music and a bring and braai after bowls.

DURBAN BC

RESULTS of the Jockey Drawn Trips played on 2 September: 1st: T Phillips, D Roos, L Sherriff 2+29; 2nd: C Chambers, N Smith, L DuPreez 2+14; 3rd: D Petzer, M Gregory, B Van den Berg 2+12; 4th: M Van den Lingen, V Premjee 2+10; Chicken Run winner: K Vincent; Jockey Drawn winner: R Dudley.

STELLA PARK BC

WELL done to Dion Audie, Graham Ellis, Mally Hean and Tommy Potgieter on reaching the finals of the All Natal Mens 4’s, unfortunately losing the final by one shot. Tuesday's tabs in sponsored by POPs Printers and The Anchorage won by Colin Nicholas, Ron Davids and Mervyn Barret.

Friday nights mufti joint winners were Mervyn Hinchcliffe, Mervyn Barret and Pam Olivier and Herman Rutgers and Rob Shaw.

Upcoming events: Friday 4pm mufti bowls, all welcome, especially beginners, followed by members draw at 6pm.

Saturday 1.15pm knockout stage of Port Natal Ladies and Men's Pairs with sections at Stella Park, continuing on Sunday.

Sunday tabs in 8.30am for 9am, strictly club colours. Tuesday 1.30pm sponsored Tabs in, dress casual, all bowlers welcome.
