RESULTS of the Chicken Run played on 9 September: winners: Ron King, Dave Iverson and Willie Wanless with +26; runners up: Ashley Sherratt, Joe McNamara and Herman Rigter and Rob Elsworth, Bill Allen and Peter Gow both teams with +13; the raffle was won by Herman Rigter.

Upcoming events: Saturday 19 September: Men's Club Drawn Pairs 2-4-2, starting at 1.30pm.

Thursday 24 September (public holiday): fun bowls, all welcome. Dress casual but flat shoes essential. Cost is R25 per person which includes tea/coffee and sandwiches.

Lots of prizes and music. Bring and braai after the bowls.
