On Saturday 10 October the group will hike at Ilanda Wilds Nature Reserve, Amanzimtoti.
Meet at Ilanda Wilds Nature Reserve, Umdoni Road, Amanzimtoti at 1.45pm. This will be a short stroll through the Ilanda Wilds Nature Reserve and Bird Sanctuary.
Explore the reserve and the surrounding area. Grading 1 – easy.

On Sunday 11 October, the group will hike at Palmiet Nature Reserve, Westville.
Meet at Westville Hotel (Jan Hofmeyer Road) at 7.30am. Walk through suburbia into the Palmiet Nature Reserve, via the old quarry. Magnificent rock faces, beautiful deep pools
and lovely birdlife. Optional bring/braai at Margie’s after the hike – weather permitting.
Grading 3. Distance is ± 15km.
