Get out and about in nature this weekend with Durban Ramblers Hiking Club and Mountain Backpackers' Club.
ENJOY outings with hiking clubs this weekend.
Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will hike at D/Moss Trail/Portuguese Club, Carrington Heights on Saturday 24 October.
Meet at the Portuguese Club (5 Wright Place, Carrington Heights) at 1.45pm to explore the D'Moss trail and surrounds.
Grading 2 – moderate.

On Sunday 25 October the group will hike at Giba Gorge.
Meet at Giba Gorge car park at 8am for a moderate hike with a few ups and downs in and around Giba Gorge.
See the Macintosh Falls and admire the cucumber farm.
Drinks at Giba after the hike. There is an entry fee of R20.
Grading 3 – distance 16 km.

Mountain Backpackers' Club will hike at Kloof Gorge on Saturday 24 Ocober.
This is an upstream hike to two waterfalls, leaving at 8.30am from the picnic site car park. Small entrance fee. Take sun protection, hat, water, snacks and a rain jacket. Moderate fitness required. Confirm with John beforehand on 082 659 5111.
