BEREA BC

RESULTS of the Chicken Run played on 2 March: winners: Clive du Plooy, Brian Edwards and Hylton with 2+19; runners up: Jumbo Nel, Joe McNamara and Ralph Davidson with 2+7; raffle was won by Margie Barratt.

Upcoming events: Twilight Bowls on Fridays at 4.45pm. All welcome.

Fun bowls on Monday 21 March at 8.30am for 9am. Cost R20 which includes tea/coffee and sarmies. Go have fun and win a prize. Bring and braai after bowls.

DURBAN BC

RESULTS results for the Kalley Interiors, Men’s Breakfast Pairs: 1st: E Myeza and D Murgatroyd 4+25; 2nd: M Morrison and C Coetzer 4+18; 3rd: C Worst and N Horn 4+16; 1st session: M Markovic and L Sherriff 2+13; 2nd session: B Lezar and T Craig 2+10.

DURBAN COLLEGIANS BC

RESULTS of the Doreen Dickinson Memorial Trips Sponsored by Quickspar Florida Road: 1st: M Giraudeaux, R Hollenbach, R Gombert 17+9; 2nd: M Finnigan, R Brathwaite, C Hollenbach 16+16; 2nd session: R Wicks, S Fenton, L Morrison 9+14.

There will be no competition in April due to the District Pairs, but will resume again on 8 May.

There will be a Warwick Mixed Trips on Monday 21 March at 9am followed by a braai.

STELLA PARK BC

THURSDAY'S Twilite Nominated 2-4-2 pairs won by John Connellan and Michelle Nortje, tied 2nd Peter Hean and Ron Davids and Clive du Plooy and Leon van der Linde.

Winners of Friday's mufti bowls were Clive Du plooy, Jurek Krajewski and Bev de Vries.

Upcoming events: Friday Mufti Bowls at 4pm, all welcome. Members draw at 6pm. Super Sports evening on big screen from 4pm T20 World Cup Proteas vs England and Super Rugby Bulls vs Sharks.

Saturday continuation of Club Singles Championships, refer to notice board for starting times.

Sunday 12.30pm Nomads bowls, all male bowlers invited to participate, dress club colours.

Tuesday 1.30pm Drawn Trips sponsored by PoPs Printers and The Anchorage Umbilo, dress casual, all bowlers welcome.

Sunday 27 March social bowls from 9am, followed by Easter Egg hunt for the children at 12.30pm and a bring and braai from 1pm. Everyone welcome, non-bowlers social bowlers and bowlers.
