THE upcoming Totalsports Women’s Race is encouraging runners and walkers to join the fight against cancer movement as they take the battle to the streets of Durban on Sunday, 17 July, with the start at Berea Rovers.
The Totalsports Women’s Race supports PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering free services to the medically uninsured across South Africa. PinkDrive will join the events and will be offering free clinical breast examinations and educating on the importance of self-breast examinations, as ‘early detection saves lives’. Look out for the pink “Shop4Cancer”. Participants are encouraged to dress in pink.
Entrance is R100 for the 10km event (licensed runner), R60 for the 5km event and R110 for the 10km event for unlicensed runners (temporary license included).
