Blackbyrd performs at women’s race
Blackbyrd will perform at South Africa’s Most Beautiful Race in Durban on Sunday, 5 June.
THE gorgeous all-women country-pop band Blackbyrd will entertain participants at the finish of the Durban SPAR Women’s 10/5km Challenge on Sunday, 5 June at Growthpoint Kings Park Stadium outer fields.
Musically innovative, Blackbyrd features lead-singer, singer-writer and guitarist Tarryn Lamb, award-winning dancer, back-up vocalist and guitarist Tamsyn Maker, and second-lead vocalist and lead guitarist Axene Chaberski-Loubser.
Catch them after the race prior to the prize-giving on the stage at the finish. SPAR will be giving away lucky draw prizes including SPAR vouchers after the race. To qualify participants must be present at the actual draw on the day.
Online entries are open at www.sparwomensrace.co.za with payment by credit card or EFT. Manual entries will only be accepted at the race registration on the three days prior to the event. Entries are limited to 18,000 athletes. Entry forms are available from participating SPAR stores in KwaZulu-Natal and at registration. No entries will be taken on race day.
