Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will take on a hike at Alverstone Nature Reserve on Saturday 28 May.
This is a hike through grasslands and up and down the dale with some game viewing.
Meet at 1.30pm at the Assagay Hotel (Shongweni), and drive though to Alverstone or meet at the conservancy at 1.45pm.
Entrance is R25. After the hike there will be a braai at the Boma.
Grade 2 – moderate.

On Sun 29 May the group will do the Msinsi/D’Moss Trail.
This hike follows paths from the University into the Msinsi Conservancy, Umbilo Canal and the D'Moss trail.
Meet at 8.30am at the parking above the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre at UKZN, Durban.
Grade 2 – distance is ±17km.
Take drinks and gather at Philip’s house in Glenwood after the hike.
