RESULTS of the Chicken Run played on 22 June: winners were Ron King, Jim Cormac and Tubby Hagar with 2+20; runners-up were Aubrey Masson, Tony and Chris Adendorff with 2+7; raffle winner was Shaun Howard.

Winners of 10 week “Best” Challenge: Skip was Clive du Plooy with 18 points; 2nd was Joe McNamara with 15 points and Lead was Des Adendorff with 17 points.

DURBAN BC

RESULTS of the Jockey drawn Drawn Trips on 22 June: 1st: B King, E Elsworthy 2+14; 2nd: S Markovic, J Le Roux 2+7; 3rd: C Best, C Christensen, D White 2+4; Jockey winner was J Le Roux; Chicken Run winner was S Markovic.

Monthly 242 pairs on 20 June: 1st: M Markovic, K Orrell 4+28; 2nd: C Sullivan, R Elsworthy 4+23; Plate winner: T Phillips, J Tilakharee; Three Ships winner: I Beavon.

RESULTS of the Youth Day Drawn Trips sponsored by Mustang Spur: 1st: V Ogle and H Robinson; 2nd: R Sparg, D van Rensbugr and J Dallymore; 3rd: T Llewellyn, R Gombert and D Scott; Drawn prizes: D Ross and R Braithwaite.

Club competition results: Ladies’ singles champion was Carol Hollenbach; runner-up Lorna Drake; Men’s singles champion was Hurley Gunn; runner-up Trevor Llewellyn; ladies’ drawn pairs: C Hollenbach and P McMaster; runners-up M Giraudeaux and R Ayres.

STELLA PARK BC

WELL done Stella Park and congratulations to the ladies’ first side on finishing first in their section of the Ladies Inter-club League and gaining promotion, and the second side on finishing second in their section.

The men’s second side finished top of the log in section two of the Men’s Inter-club League and have therefore won promotion to section two. The first side finished second in section one of the Men’s Inter-club League.

PoPs Printers and The Anchorage Umbilo Tuesday sponsored Tabs in won by Ron Davids, Dave White and Maurice Falkner.

Winners of Friday’s mufti bowls were Judy Green, Herman Rutgers and Norma Knibbs.

Monthly Big Guns winners were Colin Nicholas and team, Pop Guns winners were John Goosen, Ron Davids and Mervyn Barret.
