Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will hike at D’Moss/ Portuguese Club (Umbilo) on Saturday 12 November.
Meet and park at 1.45pm at the Portuguese Club (5 Wright Place, Carrington Heights) to explore the Umbilo D’Moss trail and surrounds.
Grade 2 – moderate, distance is ±7km.

On Sunday 13 November, the group will hike from Giba to Clifton Lookout.
Another of Jon’s ‘adventure in exploration’. The group will make its way (somehow) to the Clifton Tower and beyond.
Meet at Giba Gorge parking at 8am. Entrance fee R20.
Grade 3, distance is ±16km.

On Sunday, 13 November, Mountain Backpackers will do a beach walk from Umdloti to Umhlanga and lunch at Bush Tavern.
This is a distance of 12.5km on sand. Meet at 8am to start at 8.15am at Umdloti Beach car park.
River crossing – take dry clothes in case. Rain stops play.
