Enter charity bowls tournament

DURBAN Bowling Club invites the public to a fun bowls tournament to be held in aid of The Association for the Aged (Tafta) on Sunday, 5 November from 8.30am.

The club wishes to salute the elderly through this bowls event. The format is Nominated Trips, any combination, three games of 10 ends. Dress mufti.

Cost is R300 per team which includes morning tea and light lunch.

First prize is R1200, second prize is R900 and third prize is R600. Players and spectators are encouraged to take donations of any new or used bed linen, cushions, blankets, duvets, duvet covers, towels, face cloths, toiletries and any clothes or shoes which will be given to Tafta.
