Lace up for the Stella Royal
Marshalls World of Sport Stella Royal 2019 is on 3 March.
THE Marshalls World of Sport Stella Royal takes place on 3 March 2019 in Glenwood.
The race, which is organised by Stella Athletic Club, offers both 25km and 10km options and is run through the suburbs of Glenwood and Umbilo.
The 25km race is perfectly situated in the 2019 running calendar for those preparing for the Deloitte marathon and the hilly course is good training for Comrades. The 10km race is directed at athletes who enjoy shorter distances and is suitable for new runners and walkers looking to do their first 10km race.
Stella Athletic Club Chairman Dave Beattie expressed his appreciation to the sponsors and encouraged all Durbanites to enjoy the race. “Thank you to our fantastic sponsors who are supporting this event at a time when the economy is extremely tough. We encourage all athletes to come and support the race and most importantly enjoy the camaraderie on the road,” said Beattie.

The race fee of R120 for 10km and R150 for 25km includes a moisture management quality T-shirt. Online entries are available on eventtiming.co.za and manual entries are available at both Durban Runner stores in Glenwood and Morningside. Online entries close on 25 February. Late entries will be available on 2 March from 10am to 4pm at Stella Athletic Club.
