Some Sweet Sound for Seabrooke’s
Enjoy a night out with three top singers at Seabrooke's Theatre.

SOME Sweet Sound will be at DHS Seabrooke Theatre, 255 St Thomas Road, Musgrave, Durban, on Thursday, 15 August at 7.30pm.
Some Sweet Sound features three of South Africa’s freshest singer-songwriters. Shotgun Tori, Michael Lowman and Lucy Kruger, all making waves on the singer-songwriter touring circuit perform on this fantastic triple bill. Their range of differing vocal and musical styles are sure to delight audiences.
Shotgun Tori, one of the most independent and committed artists on the South African music scene today leaves listeners with no doubt that she sings straight from her heart with the raw, tender, yet powerful vocal delivery of her gutsy guitar-based indie folk.
This is a homecoming of sorts for Durban born Michael Lowman after a musical adventure that has seen him travel to the US, sign to EMI Music SA and record his debut album Crayon Boxes, which is due for release at the end of August. Michael blends the smooth elements of blues, folk and rock and creates his own earnest songs that tell stories of life, love and loss.
The inspirational Lucy Kruger who most recently received a Standard Bank Ovation Award at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival 2013 to added to her numerous accolades, mesmerises with her haunting and rich tapestry of skilful, versatile vocals bolstered by soulful melodies.
