Baroque 2000 returns

BAROQUE 2000 resumes its 2013 season with a concert at the Church of the Monastery, Mariannhill at 3pm on Sunday 25 August.

Returning after a two month break during which some of the musicians have been on tour to Johannesburg, Grahamstown and France, and continuing to search out music never before heard in Durban, the ensemble will present Vivaldi’s Concerto in C RV116, Geminiani’s Concerto op 3 in C, Locatelli’s Sinfonia Funebre in F minor, Corelli’s Concerto Grosso op 6 no 7, and an anonymous Overture.
