Heels over Head for Durban
Jazz sensation Heels over Head will perform in Durban on 3 October.
HEELS over Head will perform at KZNSA Gallery, Glenwood (166 Bulwer Road), Durban on Friday 3 October at 6pm.
Their history includes scooping the Yamaha Young Talent Award in 2010 and a South African Music Award nomination for their debut album Could it Be? Their latest offering, Sondela, is proof that they are in a growth spurt. In the 6-track EP
they have invited collaborations and worked with many local talents.
Thulile Zama and Nomkhosi Mazibuko on vocals will be joined by Mandy Cobbing on keyboard and Rebekah Pillay on drums to create the easy breezy jazz-pop that has become their signature sound. For this performance they will also feature smoking hot
guitarists Chillie Stent.
Opening up for Heels over Head at KZNSA Gallery will be MOE, an acronym for Music Over Everything. This female duo currently consists and was founded by two aspiring musicians and best friends, pop vocalist Tsholofelo Mapisa and classical pianist
Lee-Ann De Vries.
