Phillip Phillips supports The Script in concert
American Idol season 11 winner, Phillip Phillips, will support The Script on their SA tour.
PHILLIP Phillips will join The Script on their South African tour dates in February 2015 in support of their new album No Sound Without Silence in Durban on 6 February at ICC Durban Arena.
One of the biggest singles of 2012, the quadruple platinum Home announced Phillip Phillips as a singer/guitarist to the world. Centering on the American Idol season 11 winner’s rich, raspy vocals and masterful guitar skills, Home served as the lead single from The World from the Side of the Moon – a platinum selling album that shot to number four on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart upon its release in November 2012.
Phillips spent most of 2013 on the road with Matchbox 20 and John Mayer for his Born and Raised Tour. Performing live offers a sense of freedom that Phillips finds essential to making music.
The Script have scored a huge amount of success globally by selling over 20 million records world-wide with all three albums going multi-platinum throughout the world. Their latest single Superheroes from their fourth album No Sound Without Silence is currently in the Top 20 of the Kia Top 40 SA with iTunes on KFM and 947.
