Final Baroque 2000 concert

BAROQUE 2000's last concert of the 2014 season is a special Christmas event on Sunday 14 December at the Church of the Monastery, Mariannhill at 11am.

Soprano Nozuko Teto will sing excerpts from Handel's Messiah, and will also be heard in The Bright Seraphim, a festive aria for soprano, trumpet and strings from the same composer's opera Samson.

Also on the programme are Torelli's Christmas Concerto op 8, Corelli's Concerto Fatto per la Notte di Natale (for Christmas Night), Vivaldi's Concerto Grosso RV 163, and Albicastro's Concerto Grosso no 12.
