Benefit concert for cancer patient

Enjoy a day of live music and entertainment aimed at raising funds for Keagan Herbst's cancer treatment.

A FUNDRAISING concert will be held for a young Bluff resident, Keagan Herbst, on Saturday, 31 January at The Fynnland Combined Sports Club in Smith Drive, Fynnland, Bluff.

Keagan, head boy at Brighton Beach Junior Primary, has cancer. He was in remission but the cancer has returned. His parents' medical aid can no longer help with payments for treatment, and Shaun Venter, along with the Fynnland Combined Sports Club, has arranged the fundraiser to gather some money.

The entertainment starts at noon and finishes at 10pm. Music will be provided by DJ Conrad Corrigan and the bands Salty Rits, Calamity Jam, The Ross Tapson Trio, Jo's Garage and Buckshot.

In addition to this there will be karaoke for both adults and children, a night market, a jumping castle, a hotdog eating competition and much more.

Entry is free but donations are welcome.

For more information, or to offer help or make donations, contact Shaun on 061 466 3081 or Carol Stott on 072 414 8582.
