Reggae earth day festival for uShaka

The Meditators and other bands from Africa will perform at the Bob Marley Earth Day Reggae Music Festival at uShaka.

GET your red, yellow and green on and join uShaka Marine World in the international birthday celebrations of the iconic reggae sensation, Bob Marley, at the annual Bob Marley Earth Day Reggae Music Festival and Rasta Fair at Wahooz on the Promenade from 10am to 6pm on Sunday, 8 February.

The music of Bob Marley continues to influence pop culture and local music, and as a special South African tribute the local celebrations are set to be even bigger and better than before.

With a star line-up headlined by local favourites, The Meditators, and including guest bands from across Africa, this is one day you will not want to miss.

Musos across the world agree that the appeal of reggae music stretches beyond across cultures and generations. More than anything Bob Marley was a peace activist and his music got straight to the heart of it; in particular, speaking directly to the dream of 'one love, one nation' united through a shared love of music.

Entry is free, so dress up and get 'jammin' to the unique rhythms of this Jamaican legend.
