Friends of Music recital
Canadian violinist, Susanne Hou, will perform at the Friends of Music recital on 10 Febuary.
YI-JIA Susanne Hou, Canadian violinist, and South African pianist, Bryan Wallick, will perform in the next Friends of Music recital at the Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban at 7.30pm on 10 February.
Yi-Jia Susanne Hou is the first violinist to capture three gold medals with unanimous juries. Bryan Wallick returns to the stage as collaborative pianist. He is known for his dazzling piano technique.
Their programme includes Brahms, Schubert, Prokofiev, Danna and Saint-Saëns. The prelude performer will be trumpeter, Celi Ngema, who will be accompanied by Anne Muir.
A pre-concert talk related to the main recital will take place at 6.30pm. The cost is R60 for members, R70 for visitors and R20 for orchestral members and students. Book through Computicket or visit www.friendsofmusic.co.za.
