Essenwood market offers eggciting Easter fun

Children are encouraged to enjoy fun Easter events at Essenwood Craft Market.

ESSENWOOD Craft Market is gearing itself up for the Easter season by offering visitors a bumper range of active things to do for children, and a cosy place to enjoy a leisurely Saturday morning al-fresco brunch.

With the Easter holidays around the corner, and with families looking for things to do over the weekend, the market has consciously increased the range and selection of child-friendly and family-friendly activities.

“We want to ensure that the market’s focus is firmly family-friendly. We are situated in a park environment with a functioning play area which is perfect for children to run around. There are also creative projects for children to enjoy – sand-art; face-mask making; biscuit and cupcake icing; beading and crafts. To complement this, we have a shaded supervised play area for the little ones, free pony rides, and feature weekly child-focused activities – be it fire-engine rides; fair-ground attractions; face-painting and children’s games,” said the market’s Cyan Brown.

Over Easterthere will be Easter egg hunts and Easter themed participative events.

The market, which was established in 1993, takes place every Saturday morning from 9am until 2pm.
