Students put fashion on display at gala event
The coveted event will showcase the designs of 36 third year students.
DURBAN University of Technology (DUT) will step out on the catwalk with its highly anticipated Fashion Show on the 4, 5, 6 October at the Fred Crookes Sports Centre on the Steve Biko Campus in Durban.
The coveted event will showcase the designs of 36 third year students with the best 20 ranges showcased at the gala evening, on Friday 6 October.
Each year the graduating class is given a theme they are required to interpret in a fashion style which is revealed to the public at the three-day fashion experience.
Esteemed pioneers in fashion are flown in from all over SA to judge the student’s collections and select the top 20 designers to showcase on the finale evening. It is on this evening that the winners in the various categories are announced. Tickets for the show cost R50 for Wednesday and Thursday, and R60 for Friday, and will be available through Computicket and at the door.
