Austrian quartet for Friends recital

The quartet from Vienna is rapidly gaining popularity and recognition in the world of chamber music.

FRIENDS of Music Association presents an evening with leading string quartet from Austria, The Auner Quartet, on 6 March at Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban at 7.30pm.

The Auner Quartet is made up on Daniel Auner, first violin, Barbara Auner, second violin, Nikita Gerkusov, viola and Konstantin Zelenin, cello

As passionate chamber musicians, independent from any contracts with orchestras, the quartet strives to not only explore the extensive quartet repertoire, but also to present their unique voice within the music. They bring refinement and prowess to both new and established repertoire.
