Supporters filled the grandstand, adding to the atmosphere with cheers and excitement as each team took to the field.

The Gauteng Majorette and Cheerleading Association provincial championships brought colour, rhythm and high energy to St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls in Boksburg on June 6.

The field came alive with polished routines, spirited performances and fierce but friendly competition as teams from primary, high school and tertiary levels showcased their talent ahead of the national championships in July.

Participating teams included schools such as Benoni High School and St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls, alongside other primary, high school and tertiary teams from across the province.
