CPF donation brings hope, dignity

The event also included a feeding scheme to ensure the children and their families received nourishing meals.

The Dawn Park Rural Safety CPF brought hope and smiles to underprivileged children in Mapleton and Villa Liza by donating school shoes and hosting a feeding scheme on January 8.

The initiative, led by CPF chairperson Bianca Zimbetti, gave 32 pairs of school shoes to needy children as schools prepare to reopen for the new academic year.

Alongside the shoe donation, the event included a feeding scheme to ensure the children and their families received nourishing meals.

Zimbetti explained the inspiration behind the gesture, “We saw a need in our community and decided to act.

“With the start of the school year, we wanted to ensure children could attend school with dignity and confidence. This donation is about giving them a strong foundation to succeed.

”The event was well-received by the community, with parents and children expressing gratitude for the support.

“We hope our actions inspire others to contribute to similar causes.

“This event is just the beginning. We aim to continue these projects throughout the year, addressing our community’s various challenges.”
