Round Table offers brotherhood and community impact for young men

Community members are urged to support Round Table.

In a time when many young men feel disconnected and isolated, Round Table is offering something increasingly rare – a strong network of like-minded gentlemen who build genuine friendships while making a meaningful difference in their communities.

Round Table is a young gentlemen’s organisation that focuses on serving communities through hands-on charitable projects, while also helping members grow through fellowship, camaraderie and personal development.
“It’s a place where you don’t just talk about change- you show up and do the work,” said Cuan Maizey, treasurer of Round Table Boksburg 17.

One of the organisation’s core beliefs is that a person’s everyday life, whether in business, a profession or a trade, can be used as a powerful tool for service.
“As our aims state, one’s calling is an excellent medium of service to the community,” Maizey added.

Round Table projects are carried out across South Africa and include upliftment initiatives, fundraising efforts and direct community support. Beyond charity work, the organisation also aims to develop responsible, value-driven men.

Its objectives include building fellowship among young men, promoting the highest ideals in business and civic traditions, recognising the dignity of all occupations, and fostering responsible citizenship and loyalty to the country. These values are strengthened through meetings, discussions, lectures and shared activities.

Round Table Southern Africa is active nationwide and forms part of an international movement, giving members opportunities to travel and build global friendships. This aligns with the organisation’s aim of furthering peace and goodwill through international relationships.

The organisation also partners with respected institutions, including the South African National Blood Service, helping to expand its reach through national initiatives.
Young men who are looking for brotherhood, leadership opportunities and a sense of purpose are encouraged to get involved.
