Vendors at the April 1 Bokkie Park Food and Craft Market and the Boksburg Advetiser Car Boot Sale were again very pleased with the day’s takings.
Glen Poulten regularly sells flowers at the market and said he enjoys it because he makes money and gets to meet new people.
“I also get a chance to network here as an entrepreneur, and the environment is very friendly. My flowers are popular,” he said.
Erika Meyer, who sells handcrafted items, said she wouldn’t miss the market and car boot sale for anything.

“I was very happy when the markets started up again this year. I’ve made reasonable money today. It’s nice to be here; it’s safe and pleasant,” she said.
Another vendor who sells second-hand items, Gunther Keller, said the market and car boot sale are the perfect place to sell what he no longer needs.

“I also sell at the market and car boot sale in Benoni and will continue to do so as I have a lot of things to sell,” he said.
