Alleged robber and thieves nabbed
A man was arrested for robbing a woman, and three suspects were nabbed for breaking into a store and stealing a generator.
A man was apprehended on Keurboom Street in Van Dyk Park after robbing a woman at gunpoint on July 11.
According to Graphite Security’s tactical manager Warren Styine, members of the Community Patrollers Initiative (CPI) saw a woman being robbed of her cellphone. They called for backup on a community WhatsApp group.
With help from Graphite Security, ADT Fidelity, the CPI and the community, they caught the man and recovered her stolen property.
The man was taken to the Dawn Park SAPS.
Furthermore, three men were arrested for breaking into a shop on Charl Cilliers Street and stealing a generator in the early hours of July 14.
After following up on the information received, the Graphite A-Team tracked down the generator on the corner of 3rd Street and 4th Avenue at 12:55.
he men were linked to the theft and detained at the Boksburg North SAPS.
